Also referred to as Cats & Dogs II, this movie will be a sequel to the 2001 hit, Cats & Dogs, and is expected to be a hit as well. The movie will be about continued wars between the cats and dogs.
Cereal Heroes
This movie, which the cast is not yet known, will be about cartoon cereal box mascots that are accidentally brought to life, and these “super heroes” must save the world from destruction. Children from about nine or ten and older will enjoy this movie because of the action, since many kids love cereal as well as super heroes.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Based on the popular book series, this 20th Century Fox movie is bound to be just as popular. It will be released on April 2, 2010, and will star Zachary Gordon, Chloe Moretz, Rachael Harris, Steve Zahn, and Devon Bostwick. The movie will be about a boy who is having a difficult time starting middle school with bigger, mean kids that seem a lot older.
Guardians of Ga’Hoole
Coming to theaters on Friday, September 24, 2010, this Warner Bros. film is sure to be a hit among children of all ages because of the magical owls that will star in it. The movie will center around an orphaned owl being taken care of by agents who rescue it. The movie will star Ryan Kwanten, Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor and David Wenhem.
How To Train Your Dragon
Set to be released on March 26, 2010, this Paramount Pictures film will revolve around Vikings and wild dragons fighting in a mythical world. It will star Jay Baruchel, Gerald Butler, America Ferrera, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Children will love this animated adventure because many children love talking animals.
Hoodwinked Too! Hood Vs Evil
This sequel to the popular Hoodwinked movie is expected to be just as popular among children and families. With a release date of January 15, 2010, this movie will star Martin Short, Andy Dick, Patrick Warburton, Glenn Close, and Hayden Panettiere. Characters in the movie will investigate the disappearance of Hansel and Gretel.
Monster Hunter
Even though they can be scary, every kid loves monsters because they can be fun as well, which is why this movie is almost certain to be a hit. About a child psychologist who can actually see the monsters that children see in their closets and under their beds and conquers all but one especially difficult one. It will star Kevin James, and there isn’t a scheduled release date yet.
Shrek Forever After
With each previous Shrek movie becoming very popular, this one is expected to be just as popular or even more so. Set to be released on May 21, 2010, this Paramount Pictures movie will star Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, and Ian McShane. In the movie, Shrek, the “family man” will end up being hunted along with other ogres and will attempt to find his way back to his beloved family.
