2nd grade technology lessons

In the second grade, teachers push students to learn about the world around them and about their place in it. By teaching these different perspectives, teachers can better understand who they are in relation to the broader society. This lesson is all about how technology affects education. What do you learn in high school that won’t be taught in middle school? And what are our future opportunities as a society with technology? These questions could come up again and again throughout your life and could still affect you in the future.

In grade school, the teacher would assign problems that had to be solved through their binary logic paradigm. We all knew what was going to happen with those pins. No one liked to get caught on the wrong side of the worksheet. We were trying to solve for two things by using two different ways of figuring out numbers. The binary approach kept us safe from being caught on the wrong side, meaning a result when one number is more than another number and it worked that way. But sometimes, we would go against this binary approach and choose an incorrect answer based on something else that we thought would save us from getting caught on the wrong side.
