They publish a number of award winning science and technology books for kids. Their most famous children’s book is, “Science Book for Boys”. The book was all about the school project that we all went through on weekends and holidays to get our dad a new car. The author, Dr. Don Koeppel, who is also an astronaut, explains how the science behind space exploration can be applied to everyday life.

ARK tells the story of Arkansas. Arkansas was one of the first countries in the world to experiment with space travel and rocket launches. The story continues to this day: how massive rockets can fly across the sky, giant spaceships are born, and even Operation Pussyfoot took place.

They promote their businesses, raise money for funding, and inspire the next generation of scientists who want to make different things happen in science and technology. Recently, we saw the announcement by SAP who is headed down this same path – they are going to be investing $3 billion in this same field that ARK was talking about.

Arkansans are suffering from a crisis of science and technology. There are so many bad things happening in the world right now, it’s ridiculous to just keep going down that path. The Arkansans are letting those bad trends affect their citizens of this great state by creating educational tools and tools to improve mindsets and create new ways to attract, retain, and educate all of us in the state. What’s even more interesting is that they’re bringing these tools all across this great state as part of a course called Arkansans at Home.

Arkansas science and technology authority is a national an academic institution that strives to be an established, interdisciplinary research center focusing on advanced biomedical and engineering advances in the fields of medical imaging and neuroengineering.
