It seems like every week we learn a new fashion or technology. This week we learned about the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in partnership with the Fashion Museum of South Carolina in Myrtle Beach. FIT is a four-year school located in New York City that offers the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) a comprehensive degree program in fashion design.

What makes FIT unique? Well, the school’s mission is to teach students the fundamentals of fashion design and fashion merchandising. While this is very different from most fashion schools, it is still a great opportunity to learn how to design clothing and fashion accessories for the modern world.

Fashion is a business in the same way that any other kind of business is. It’s all about the bottom line. It’s all about making money, and the sooner you can make that money, the sooner you can quit your day job and become a full-time designer. FIT is a great place to put in the hours when you don’t have time to be a normal person.
