The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) has invented a new type of artificial intelligence that is being used in the research experiments of our future. Designing and processing huge amounts of information – or “mapping” – it is capable of recognizing objects like their smell and even their faces, which give a much more human-like appearance. This technology could eventually lead to a much more intelligent form of artificial intelligence for all robotic systems being developed.
