I’ve been thinking about this for a while. It’s a pledge that I’ve been thinking about for a long time. We all know the dangers of being online. The number of deaths, injuries, and accidents that we see every day isn’t something we need to worry about, but it is something that we all need to take care of when we can.
I never thought I would be one of those people who would pledge their internet safety, but I’m happy to say here that I have. So when I am online, I must ask a few questions: 1. Do I have an email address? 2. If I do, is it safe? 3.
So, it seems like it’s been a while since I signed up for the “level 2 internet safety pledge” and I’m glad to say that I’ve been keeping up with it. I’ve been looking at the Internet Safety Council (ISC) for quite a while now and I decided to give it a shot.
At Level 2 the internet safety pledge is for all of the children in the world to have a secure, private and safe internet experience at home. The pledge is to make the internet experience as private as possible. All of this takes place inside our home.

It is where we can make our own rules about what we’re allowed to do on the internet. This includes parental controls; limiting the amount of time you allow your kids to use the internet; and the ability to block webpages.
