What do you mean by technology? If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s a fancy way to say “the thing that is cool but doesn’t really belong to me.” All things considered, maybe it does belong to someone. We call this stuff “technology” because it changes everyday life in ways we can’t quite understand. The world has changed so much in the past few years and I’m lucky enough to have been around when the big thing came along: smartphones.
The Tennessee State Legislature recently brought backward-looking legislation which would introduce a cost-controlled insurance system that would allow small businesses to offer insurance policies to employees and employers, allowing them to pay the cost of medical, dental and vision care. The Tennessee Insurance Department has already stated that this bill will move forward, although it is not expected to be enacted until after the 2018 Legislative Session.
