Its also one of those things that I find very surprising. I’ve always kept my swimming pools septic because its really hard to clean out, but this technology is essentially septic, but for water. I mean, theyre just two different things.
The problem is that I dont think its safe. You dont want to touch your pool, and it is also a very expensive solution, but its also a lot less expensive than septic. But as always, only you know if it is.
I guess my main concern is that the technology is a lot more expensive and complicated than septic, which is why a lot of people choose to not bother. I feel like Ive seen too many swim lessons and pool cleanups where the water just looks like a giant puddle.

For example, a typical wastewater treatment plant will use a variety of chemicals to kill pathogens before the wastewater gets turned into drinking water. But when you look at the amount of pathogens in a typical swimming pool, that doesnt really sound like the sort of thing that you would want to treat.
