You have probably heard of a multi-core processor, which is basically a CPU that’s made up of more than one chip. We have CPUs that are made up of more than one core, as well, such as those found in the Xbox console, Playstation, and Nintendo.
The CPU is the heart of a computer, and in this case, the CPU is a piece of hardware that effectively acts as two separate pieces. The first core inside a particular CPU is called the “core.” It is the brain of a particular CPU, basically the equivalent of the brain of a human being. They are a little more expensive than differential chips because they take up more pins on the circuit board, but still are more power efficient. By the way, there is a different reason they are called differently.
While there are many chips and chipsets out there for the CPU to be more then just two CPU, the one I am about to talk about is called a delta-Sigma-Delta (DSD) or differential chip. The most important reason is to make this chip work, a lot easier to manufacture. The simplest way to get this chip working is to add a resistor that goes between the two capacitor pairs and a capacitor that goes between the capacitor pairs that’s what the delta-Sigma-Delta DSD is called on. I think this is a very simple way to get this chip working by adding a capacitor between two resistors. It’s a little complex but it’s a lot more than just one resistor.
