The classic waffle maker is the first waffle maker. After many years and countless versions, I’ve finally come to a conclusion about waffles. I have a hard time trying to explain them to people who don’t know what a waffle is or what it is made out of. I have a hard time explaining them to myself, too.
For some reason my brain likes to think of waffles as being shaped like animals. I see this when I hear about waffles being made out of different shapes. One of the weirdest examples is the mason waffle, which is shaped like a giant mason jar. Another is the waffle that looks like a giant hamster. I have no idea what it is made out of, but I see it as being shaped like a hamster.
I could be wrong here, but I think I’ve also heard this made out of a giant coffee cup (which is the shape of a giant mug).
All of these waffles are made out of very small, round, rectangular, square, or round waffle shapes. I mean, I know that the shape of a waffle can’t be a waffle, but I don’t see why anyone would make something that looks like a waffle if I can’t imagine the purpose of it.
Well, waffles are a very popular breakfast, and I think I have to agree that they look like a hamster.
It’s a pity that waffles are such a common breakfast that you can’t find a waffle maker that even has the shape of a waffle, because I am sure that they are much more exciting than the hamster waffle.
I wonder if anyone else noticed that the shape of a waffle was changed to a rabbit’s ear in the last few seconds of the trailer. If you take any waffle maker or waffle shape and try to make them into a waffle, the waffles will often stick out like a rabbit’s ear.
You could try making them into whatever shape you would like. The waffle shape makes a point and the rabbit ear makes a statement. It’s a little like your blog being a link-post. You can give it a more descriptive title (“dog shaped waffle maker”) so it seems to get at something that may or may not be important.
The rabbit ears are a good example of how you can use the power of words and imagery to create an emotional connection. The waffles could be a nice link-post too. I think the two of them are a little bit similar in that they both have an element of surprise/innocence to them. You could use them as a link-post too. You can use the rabbit ear as a link-post in a very creative way.
I think the waffles’ connection to the rabbit ears is a great example of using a little bit of irony to get at something important. The rabbit ears represent that we have some power to influence the world around us. Waffles represent the power we have to influence the world around us.
