The Maine Institute of Technology’s (MIT) new one-stop research library and interactive computing center is the first of its kind venture in the world. MIT has a strong focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The institute offers students the opportunity to do hands-on research related to their chosen interest in addition to professional development, integration and career opportunities. This cooperative effort by students and faculty is the result of a long-standing partnership between MIT and Maine Department of Vertebrate Marine Sciences.
