For hospitality executives and owners, technology has become an aspect of their business.
In our study of 1,000 hotel executives and owners, nearly one in three had never used technology, while a significant two in three had never used it in the last year. I say “significant” because the majority of the time they only used technology in the way that they were trained and instructed to use it. Like many hospitality executives and owners, they are used to being in touch with technology, doing it the way it’s been taught to them.
When technology comes in to your business, you have to decide for yourself whether or not to use it. In theory, the more sophisticated you get at technology, the more likely you are to use it in ways that are familiar and comfortable. But in fact, there are many times when you have to ask yourself whether or not there is something more that you need to learn to do.
The problem with technology is that it is such an abstract concept, it isn’t easy to think about in a way that is consistent across all industries. For example, the hospitality industry has been pretty tech-centric for a while now, so I don’t know how much technology you see in hotels. But I know one thing- you don’t want to be in a hotel full of tech-savvy people who can’t communicate with IT.
A lot of the technology that goes into hotels is not really a technology that a tech-savvy person would want to use. For example, the hotel’s restaurant computers. They are very easy to use, and easy to hack. But I think the biggest danger is having people who arent tech-savvy or tech-aware. They dont want to be working with tech in the hotel, so they go and hack.
The hotel tech-savvy people who are trying to be smart. You dont want them in any hotel. You dont want them in any of them. In fact, I don’t know how many hotels there are. I dont know if they do, but I dont know if they do.

Technology is a major driver of the hospitality industry. This is because technology is the only way to find out what your guests are going to want to eat, see, and do. You can even now put your guests in a room and ask them to use their phones to check out what they’re in for, or just to get directions, or just to make sure they don’t wander off.
