The may is a ghost that haunts the woods and fields, a spirit of the forest that has no home but in the woods. It often shows up in the form of a hooting bird in the night, a cry that is only heard when the may does not want to be scared, a quiet sound that is a sign that the may is near.

In a nutshell, Colt is a bird of the night, a creature that haunts the woods. He’s the first character introduced as we start the game and we spend the first half of the game watching him stalk the Visionaries before they’re spotted by his comrades. The other characters we meet are all based on characters our own son Connor played in our last game, Starbound.
What’s most interesting about Colt is that he seems to be able to see the future and act on it. In the trailer we see him shooting a Visionary in the head or something, and he seems to have a sort of telepathic connection with the person that he is shooting. This isn’t necessarily a spoiler, because we don’t usually see how people in our games act. But in the case of Colt, it’s pretty cool to see him figure it all out in his own head.
